One brand. Two islands. Still the same fresh feeling.

Across the ditch, Kiwis know Woolies as Countdown. Same fresh produce. Same friendly team. Same iconic logo... apart from the name beneath

In 2024, we set out to change that—bringing both sides of the Tasman together under one Woolworths brand. The campaign reassured shoppers that while the name was changing, the fresh, everything they loved was staying the same.

With the help of a soulful new version of Nina Simone (re-recorded by a brilliant Māori vocalist) and a feast of Feijoas, we bottled the nostalgia of a Kiwi summer and served up a fresh new chapter in film, social and OOH.
